This monstrosity was once a healthy woman in the later stages of pregnancy. The N4 virus unsparingly fused both mother and fetus, as if to further mock the sanctity of life. Taller than most of your average zombies, the mother possesses two pairs of gaping maws as arms, although it isn't her primary form of attack. The nature of the mother creates a breeding ground within her womb for mutated stomach parasites, whom she summons as minions when attacking by expelling them from her body. Despite her size, the mother is slow, even when aggressive or injured.

Attacks by continuously spawning parasites in huge amounts. Any weapon, even melee, can be used against her so as long as survivors can avoid the parasite swarm she summons upon spotting a survivor. Often there's enough space for hit-and-run tactics; stand in one spot to attack her and relocate to another when the parasite swarm approaches. Spawns in level 10 zones and beyond.

The Mutated boss known as Mother is typically the easiest boss by far, just keep your distance from the boss and the parasite's slow movement speed and keep on shooting the Mother in the face.

She will spawn Parasites (leeches) in which killing them will result in more spawning, so it's best to just leave them alive until the Mother is dead.

Make sure to not get lazy and get hit by the Mother as her attacks deal very high amounts of damage.

Also like all boss encounters, try to kill the infected first, as they make the fights much harder and the little space crowded.

Choir Guide Edit

Choir
Choir
Health Points: Level 10-20; 240 / Level 25-30; 960 / Irradiated; 1,200
Damage per Hit: Level 10-20; Roar 20 / Bite 16 / One Arm 32 / Two Arms 64 / Level 25-30; Roar 40 / Bite 32 / One Arm 64 / Two Arms 128 / Bloodied; Roar 40 / Bite 48 / One Arm 96 / Two Arms 192
Calm Speed: Slow
Alerted Speed: Slow
Sprint Speed: Slow
Experience: Level 10-20; 960 / Level 25-30; 3,840

The Choir, named for his many head growths, is a very dangerous enemy to face even in groups. With multiple heads and a highly mutated vocal cord, the Choir's primary form of attack is to scream so loud that it damages the hearings of survivors and leaves them stunned for them to close in and tenderize victims with his giant bony spike that was once his arm.

Attacks by screaming and damaging everyone close to him. Attack him with long range headshots with rifles and pistols, as his multiple heads make it very easy to score a headshot. Close range attacks with shotguns and sub-machine guns are also viable as long as players can learn his scream pattern and retreat before he screams. Melee is not recommended as it takes a long time to attack and leave you vulnerable to damage. Spawns in level 10 zones and beyond.

Choir's main attack is a very loud roar that will damage you if you are within range of it, which is usually about half of the room's length.

A good strategy to avoiding being hit by the roar, is to time the knock-back from your attacks wisely. Whenever he starts to roar, start shooting him for a few seconds, and then wait until you feel like he is about to roar again and shoot him to knock him back, and then run far away. Doing this strategy correctly and leading him around the edges of the room by timing your stuns correctly to get some distance and not trap your self, then the boss will become very easy in no time.

Choir has a very large head which is easy to head shot, due to this he will typically die the fastest out of all bosses.

Fingers Guide Edit

Fingers
Fingers
Health Points: Level 10-20; 240 / Level 25-30; 960 / Irradiated; 1,200
Damage per Hit: Level 10-20; Stare 5 / Bite 8 / One Arm 16 / Two Arms 32 / Level 25-30; Stare 10 / Bite 16 / One Arm 32 / Two Arms 64 / Bloodied; Stare 10 / Bite 32 / One Arm 64 / Two Arms 128
Calm Speed: Slow
Alerted Speed: Slow/Medium
Sprint Speed: Slow/Medium (Random chance of either walking slowly, or walking fast)
Experience: Level 10-20; 960 / Level 25-30; 3,840

One of the new forms of mutations in the Fairview outskirts. Although his nickname, the rickety figure and awkward gait is laughable at first, "Fingers" is not a threat to trifle with. His optical senses have undergone extreme mutation in bio-luminescence in addition to the usual size and muscle mutations. Although survivors are told to aim for the head, survivors who looked at his face instead met a very blinding glare into their eyes, often leaving them stunned long enough for Fingers to close in and use the fingers surrounding his head to grab their face and eat them face first while continuously torturing their eyes with his glares. For the lucky ones that manage to escape, they did so with temporary or permanent eye damage.

Damages anyone who looks at his face. Because he cannot be frontally attacked in the head, use high DPS or DPH weapons like sub-machine guns or shotguns and aim for his torso. Another tactic is to continuosly target one of his legs and sever it, making his gaze next to useless while he crawls. If attacking fingers in a group of two or more, considering using his current target as "bait" so the others can safely attack the back of his head. Spawns in level 10 zones and beyond.

Fingers will cause damage to you just by moving your crosshair near his chest or face area whilst he is looking in your direction (knocking him back whilst he is walking side-ways may force him to briefly face you and cause damage).

There's a few strategies for killing Fingers, and is typically 1 of the most annoying bosses due to his mechanics and tanky nature. The easier strategy but less efficient strategy is to focus on shooting 1 leg until it gets decapitated, then stand close to the boss whilst he crawls and shoot his head, being too far away will cause him to deal damage by looking at his face whenever he raises his head whilst crawling.

2nd Strategy is to lure Fingers behind a couch/sofa or any obstacle and shoot him in the side of the head whilst he is walking around it and not facing you, however this strategy usually requires a lot of fast aiming and flinch shots, takes some practice to get good at it.

3rd Strategy is for shotgun users, wait for Fingers to get within pointblank range whilst you are aiming at his feet, and then quickly flinch/aim upwards and shoot him in the face once or twice depending on your attack speed, and then look away fast. You can do this safely by waiting for the knock-back from dealing damage to cool down so that your next attack will cause a knock-back again.

Roid Hulk Guide Edit

Roid Hulk

Health Points: Level 15-20; 500 / Level 25-30; 2,000 / Irradiated; 2,500
Damage per Hit: Level 15-20; Bite 32 / One Arm 64 / Two Arms 128 / Level 25-30; Bite 64 / One Arm 128 / Two Arms 192 / Bloodied; Bite 96 / One Arm 192 / Two Arms 288
Calm Speed: Slow

Sprint Speed: Very Fast
Experience: Level 15-20; 1,920 / Level 25-30; 7,680

It's rumored that Fairview's top body builders used the N4 Drug to stay one step above the rest of the competition, which have since mutated their elitist bodies into a monstrous and twisted mold of a "Roid Hulk". This beast is the stuff of nightmares, using his terrifying loud roars to intimidate his prey whilst charging at full speed. His bulky mutated muscles are deceivingly fast and brutally strong, capable of ramming over tanks before they can even turn to fire. He has also been rumored to slice off limbs with his fingers which have mutated into sharp bones.

A huge and tough enemy that can sprint towards the player for a certain period of time. His head is rather less exposed which makes scoring headshots problematic. Exploit his large hitbox to continuously land shots on him. Melee is unadvised. Spawns in level 15 zones and beyond.

Roid Hulk is a very tanky Mutation and will take a while to kill him, he also runs very fast but has to stop to attack you, so as long as you don't run into a dead end or an obstacle or make mistakes, you will avoid taking damage. He was recently nerfed so that no longer has a chance of attacking very fast. Worth noting that with enough Walk Speed you can just ADS/Reload the entire fight without him being able to hit you.

You will need to wait for him to stop sprinting before you can reload, unless you have good enough reload speed and knock-back distance to reload after stunning him.

A two-player strategy to killing this boss legitimately would be to have 1 player equip items with high jog/sprint speed and run in circles around an obstacle whilst luring the boss, and the 2nd player stands at the door to prevent other infected from spawning in, and shoots the boss (best to rejoin the room if the boss chases the shooter).

Tendril Guide Edit

Calm Speed: Slow
Alerted Speed: Very Fast
Sprint Speed: Very Fast
Experience: Level 15-20; 960 / Level 25-30; 3,840

Once an ordinary female infected, the N4 virus mutated its unfortunate victim into a figure that looks like it walked out of a nightmare. Its moniker is derived from the meter-long tentacles that have replaced its arms. The Tendril now uses these tentacles to slam survivors with enough force to break multiple bones, severely bruise muscle tendons, and tear deep lacerations in the skin. This abomination is exceptionally deadly due to its heightened senses, unearthly reflexes, and ludicrous speed. Close-quarters combat isn't impossible, but it is not recommended. It is not uncommon for a survivor to be eviscerated before his weapon can be drawn against it.

She has the ability to sprint like the Titan, but sprints faster and for a longer duration. Her attacks are very quick and have a large reach doing tonnes of damage in a very short amount of time. Unlike the Titan, the Tendril has a small hitbox that may make it difficult to land shots on her although her head is more exposed. High jog speed is recommended when combating her. Melee is unadvised. Spawns in level 15 zones and beyond.

Tendril is the fastest Mutated Boss and will be very tough to kill, you need about 65-75+ Jog Speed and have to take the corner turns well other wise she will hit you, she attacks rather fast and multiple times rapidly with her long tentacle arms.

It is recommended to watch a YouTube guide if you want to learn how to solo this boss:

Spitter Guide Edit

The supposed "Sister" to Fingers, the Spitter shares similar movements to Fingers, with the exception of being more lethal. The Spitter is unique unlike other bosses, relies on its ranged projectile vomit attack, that spews 5 projectiles at the survivor, capable of inflicting burn status upon the survivor should the projectiles hit. It is also recommended to not engage in close quarters combat, as it's melee damage is equivalent to that of a Roid Hulk's or Mother's.

Even after seeing them eat the flesh our loved ones, we had difficulties accepting the truth. They were real and they wanted us dead. Never in our wildest imaginations did we realize that it could get even worse. Lately, there have been rumors circulating the outposts with word about a new kind of threat that would not be sated with just trying to eat us alive. She would first prefer to melt the flesh from our bones. Those who have survived their encounters with it have dubbed it as "The Spitter". Doctor Ozmark has theorized that the N-4 virus has manifested a strange mutation that somehow appears to overstimulate the build-up of gastric acids inside Spitter's stomach, which she then launches from her mouth towards her prey. If word of mouth is to be believed, there are more terrifying surprises lurking within the shadows of our once beloved hometown...

The Spitter is a dangerous boss for all types of players from Melee to Rifles due to her ranged Spit attack.

When the Spitter uses her ranged attack she spits 4-5 vomit projectiles that deal a fair amount of damage and can also inflict the Burns debuff making you more vulnerable to not only her but the other infected in the area.

Bringing a Burns Kit is recommended when fighting her.

Depending on your character build a good strategy to dealing with her is to slowly circle her while attempting to take chip shots at her head or body. When she uses her spit attack the best move would be to strafe either left or right, preferably in the direction you plan to circle her, be mindful of the fact that if you stop moving too early she may still hit you with the last of her vomit projectiles.

Another strategy whilst solo is to wait for the Spitter to start the spitting animation and then attack her to cancel the acid spit attack, it is important to not attack her for too long so that the knockback cooldown resets before she spits again. And then just repeat that until she is dead.

Most builds are on equal footing when fighting the Spitter however Pistols and Rifles appear to be the best at dealing with her due to the increased accuracy and range allowing players to relatively easily hit her head.
