Challenges are a new mini-event system that allows you to earn extra cash and EXP by defeating special groups of enemies within a time limit.
Every 20 minutes, 2 new Challenges will appear on the world map as purple highlighted areas, and will last for 20 minutes unless completed within the time limit. However, no challenges will spawn 20 minutes before and after an Outpost Attack.
A level 30 Challenge will roughly give you between 8,000 to 12,000 EXP, and $2,000 to $3,900 Cash.
Also, your challenge progress is displayed in the bottom left corner of your screen, only visible whilst inside the challenge zone. And the challenge zones will of course spawn the required enemies to complete the challenge.
