Comer and Son Inc. is a special building oriented at end-game players, that can be found in either Lerwillbury or Archbrook, or less commonly Wolfstable (location changes randomly with the weekly world reset). It is always level 50 on the inside (even if it's inside of a level 45 zone), and features Curse of Comer's Status Effects that greatly increases the difficulty above other level 50 buildings. Comer and Son Inc. uses an office interior design based on the old buildings since Pre-Open World. Players can also spot the building on the world map or wandering around by looking for the red coloured text saying 'Comer and Son Inc'.

What does it contain?[]

Comers hub

Special features:

  • Curse of Comer's status effect is applied whilst you are on the inside of this building, greatly increasing the difficulty above other level 50 buildings.
  • A whopping 20 floors (compared to most buildings having at most 7 floors maximum if also counting basement floors).
  • A higher density of Infected in a room at a time.
  • All Infected are guaranteed sprinters, causing players to be easily swarmed by the Infected if proceeding without caution.
  • A total of 7-8 locked doors can be found in the building (Around Floor 1-10), making it the only building with the most locked doors available in the game.
  • Like in any large building, bosses can be in any room or hallway without a "???" on the door, but with a much higher probability.
  • +500% Find Elite and Unique Item Chance in the boss room that can be located around floor 16-18 with 3 bosses all in the same room.

Curse of Comer's[]

Upon entering Comer and Son Inc. the player is cursed with the Curse of Comer's status effect, which greatly increases the difficulty of the building whilst also greatly increasing the odds of finding better loot. The curse is only active whilst you are inside this building (there is also a status effect with the same name but slightly different modifiers while inside Palehaven City's Archives). Here's a list of modifiers the Curse provides:

  • +100% EXP Gained
  • +100% Find Elite Item Chance
  • +100% Find Unique Item Chance
  • +100% Find Backpack Chance
  • +100% Find Upgrade Chance
  • +100% Incoming Damage
  • +100% Zombie Health
  • +100% Mutated Health
  • +100% Infection Chance
  • +100% Burns Chance
  • +100% Radiation Chance
  • +100% Bleeding Chance
  • +30% Footstep Noise Radius
  • +30% Sneak Visibility Range
  • +60% Visibility Range

With the building having 20 Floors there is massive potential for looting and grinding, it's the perfect building for those who want a rather long game session.

Comers room

As mentioned above, Comer & Son Inc. has a higher spawn rate of Infected per room than any other Level 50 buildings & below. All of the Infected in the building are confirmed Runners & occasionally vomits at the players. It best best advise players to be extra cautious of their surroundings & Infected behaviors when raiding the building to prevent being overrun by the Infected easily.

Three is a crowd![]

Comer3Bosses

Comer and Son Inc. is the only building in the entire game that features a Boss Room with 3 Separate Bosses. Dead Frontier 2 does not hold back when deciding what bosses will be in this room, every Level 50 type of boss can be spawned here with no limit on duplicates meaning you could have a boss room with 2 Blood Tendrils and 1 Irradiated Spitter. It's completely random and is decided upon reset. All 3 bosses are able to be looted and have a +500% Find Elite & Unique Item Chance on top of the Curse of Comer's status effect.

Take note: Players are advised to bring extra supplies of ammo, medicines & team up in a party due to the difficulty level.
