All users are welcome to contribute to the Dead Frontier 2 Wiki, feel free to add any information that may be missing!

Staying hydrated in this post-apocalyptic society is one of the top priorities to every survivor, especially since survivors are using much of their energy bashing up the undead and by running. Without water, your organs will slowly shut down until you die, so it is important to keep yourself hydrated as much as possible in this world.

Important Notes Edit

  • Unlike Dead Frontier 1, food and drinks are in separate categories.
  • Some drinks have the ability to stimulate your character (e.g Iced Coffee, Energy Drink e.t.c). Drinking these few beverages will boost your stats for a limited amount of time.
  • However, Whiskey and Wine have the effect of intoxicating you, which will lower your stats for about 5 minutes.
  • Hydration is lost at the base rate of 40 hydration every 2 minutes.
  • Dehydration will give you debuff and takes 1% of your health every minute.

Drinks Edit

Beer

Food: 200 kcal
Water: 220 ml

Scrap Value: $6

While not a good way of remaining sober these days, beer was one of the most common beverages before the outbreak, and still very common after, this no-name beer is one of the two worst types of foods. The only taste people still get from this drink, is a foul, unhealthy one, but at least it satisfies their thirst for a while.

Diet Soda

Water: 330 ml

Scrap Value: $6

The "healthier" version of the normal soda. Still tastes good enough for people to enjoy and more than enough to keep your body hydrated.

Soda

Food: 125 kcal
Water: 330 ml

Scrap Value: $6

Soda was one of the most popular drinks in the world before the outbreak happened. Now, even after society has collapsed, you can still find this somewhat unhealthy drink everywhere.

Long-Life Milk

Food: 250 kcal
Water: 500 ml

Scrap Value: $6

Living up to its title, the Long-Life Milk can last up to months(?) without spoiling. Coupled with its highly nutritious value, it is one of the most popular drinks out there in this world

Water

Water: 500 ml

Scrap Value: $6

The normal everyday water you see and drink everyday. However, due to water being scarce these days, it is really expensive on the market, more than enough to burn a hole in your wallet.

Orange Juice

Food: 450 kcal
Water: 1000 ml

Scrap Value: $6

Orange Juice is expensive and has a very good and healthy taste, but is somewhat rare to find on the market, due to its quite high demand within the ranks of experienced zombie hunters.

Status Changing Drinks Edit

Whiskey

Food: 500 kcal
Water: 10 ml

Causes: Intoxicated
Scrap Value: $6

For centuries, whiskey has been the drink of choice for people who choose to live hard and party even harder. With a gun in one hand and a bottle of 80-proof in the other, an angry and drunk survivor is someone that even a zombie would probably think twice about tangling with... if zombies still could think, that is.

Wine

Food: 650 kcal
Water: 10 ml

Causes: Intoxicated
Scrap Value: $6

If one is still able to own and drink this red elixir of happiness in this forsaken world, he or she is either very lucky, or damn rich, since these nice bottles are almost always kept within well protected locales. Most of these were either already used up or smashed during the first weeks of the Outbreak. A few former vineyard owners have been growing a few attempts at wine, and the only successful attempts will burn a hole in anyone's pocket.

Iced Coffee

Food: 140 kcal
Water: 200 ml

Causes: Stimulated
Scrap Value: $6

Coffee has been the go-to drink for centuries. And now, you can have the iced version of it! Speaking of which, how is the coffee still iced if it has been left for a long time?

Energy Drink

Food: 250 kcal
Water: 500 ml

Causes: Stimulated
Scrap Value: $6

Nobody really knows what brand this energy drink belongs to. Regardless, it is still highly valued due to keeping mentally exhausted fighters and looters awake.
