Food is one of the few elements that humans need to survive, besides water and oxygen. And after the zombie apocalypse, foods are now even more valued than before, with many initial survivors starving to death due to lack of food available in this post-apocalyptic world.

Important Notes[]

  • Food is required to replenish Energy, which is lost anywhere outside Outposts at the base rate of 60 Energy every 2 minutes.
  • Should your Energy reach 0, you will enter Starving state, in which you will lose 1% of your health every minute.
  • Certain Food and Drinks are required by some "Obtain Object of Specific Type" missions.
  • Certain Food and Drinks will cause certain time-limited [effects] on the player consuming them.
  • Although Food and Drinks are in separate categories in Inventory View and Trader, some food items will also replenish Hydration, while some drink items will also replenish Energy.
  • Food and Drinks have no requirements for consumption or mission use, and only exist in Common grade.

Mission/Crafting Food[]

These are rarely-dropping and expensive food items can be handed in as a mission reward for specific Daily Missions that request them. They can also be consumed just as any other food item, however this is not recommended due to their very high prices, so instead it is much more profitable to sell them via the Trader and buy multiple regular food items to replenish the Energy, while keeping a sizeable $ sum in the end.
