Introduction to Rifles Edit

Naturally accurate, with a good headshot damage, rifles serves as primary weapons. Their reasonably high accuracy and powerful rounds allow them to be effective even in the hands of characters without perks for accuracy and reloading.

Advantages and Disadvantages Edit

Advantages: Edit

  • Having a good headshot damage, the gun's potential can be maximized with the help of the "Head Hunter" perk.
  • Good knockback distance.
  • Rifles have a good accuracy.
  • Medium clip size (with the exception of Greening GLR).

Disadvantages: Edit

  • They have the second largest ammo boxes compared to pistols (60 per box compared to pistols having 100 per box).
  • Slow aim time (can be fixed with "Marksman").
  • Long reload time (can be fixed with "Reloading").

Real Name: Ruger Mini-14

Essentially an upgraded version of the Browning BLR, the Ruger Mini-14, or Scout (not to be confused with the Steyr Scout) features a 10 round magazine (despite being modeled with a 20rnd mag) and a scope for long range engagement. The increased magazine capacity can save the survivor time from reloading and spend more time in combat.

Real Name: Lee-Enfield

As time passed during the outbreak, new survivors from other countries began to appear. Among some were from Russia, totting the powerful Dragon SVD From Europe, and at the same time survivors found new patches of gun stores to loot, also containing SVDs. A larger clip magazine than the Current Garand, and showing off a well-made wooden stock body, the SVD is a upgrade for any survivor who has trouble with trigger discipline

Real Name: M14

Another rifle found amongst the new unlooted gun stores and other looting spots was the M14, a powerful and direct upgrade to the M1 Garand. At the time of it's discovery in the cities, it is considered the highest capacity rifle and most effective at dealing with multiple targets in a small time interval.
