Introduction to Submachine guns Edit

Submachine guns provide a high rate of fire, making them the best DPS weapons. Although having poor accuracy when firing in full auto ,its damage per second still makes it highly effective at close range, pumping zombies full of lead. What they lack in damage per shot, they make up for it through greater magazines and fire rate. When controlled in burst (2-3 bullets per click), SMGs are fairly good at landing consecutive headshots.

Advantages and Disadvantages Edit

Advantages

  • Submachine guns share the same ammunition with the handguns (100 per box).
  • High rate of fire. Useful for staggering and pushing the zombies away from you.
  • Big clip size.
  • Accurate when burst firing.

Disadvantages

  • Low body and headshot damage.
  • They consume ammo faster than all the weapons.
  • Inaccurate when firing full auto.

Real Name: Škorpion SA Vz. 61

The Scorpion is a sub machine gun manufactured and exported by Czechoslovakia during the Cold War and uses a range of small caliber pistol rounds. Its compactness made it popular as a concealed-carry weapon for the KGB, USSR special forces, and Russian law enforcement. In the modern age, many of these surplus guns were provided to military soldiers in the zombie outbreak, and can be easily found in Fairview.

Real Name: HK MP5

The H&K "Maschinenpistole 5" has become somewhat of a legend. Chambered mostly in 9mm Parabellum, it has been used extensively by the British SAS, US Navy, Marine Corps, and various law enforcement agencies due to its great accuracy and extreme reliability. The MP5 was already a pretty common and popular gun before the outbreak, and now just these advantages made this weapon a highly valued survival tool.

Real Name: MAC-11

When survivors began to find traces and then a whole supply of scattered .38 Special ammo, the MAC-11's were put back into circulation by all that could muster and shoot a weapon. Coveted as one of the most iconic SMGs as a literal box with bullets, the MAC-11 trades in magazine size for the .38 Special it uses.
